STONE ACID STAIN is a compound based on metal salts and buffered acids of various kinds; It is applied to concrete screeds, self-leveling products, etc. and develops a chemical reaction with them that creates crystals of colored salts that fill the micropores of the screed and create unique colored cements. STONE ACID DESIGNATION does not contain hydrochloric acid and, as a non-hazardous substance, can even be transported by air. Thanks to this solution, it is possible to achieve effects reminiscent of different types of marble or natural stones.
Packing: 1kg and 5kg canisters
Yield 5m2/L
DESIGNATION
STONE ACID STAIN is a compound based on metal salts and buffered acids of various kinds; It is applied to the concrete screed and undergoes a chemical reaction with it, creating crystals of colored salts that fill the micropores of the screed and permanently stain the surface.
Effects resembling various marbles or natural stones can be achieved.
14 standard colours are offered, which can be used to create a variety of shades.
Acids can develop different colors in different concretes, so it is always advisable to do a color test before starting the work.
APPLICATION
1) On existing concrete
The surface must be free of processing, well degreased, clean and washed; After drying, it must be permeable to water, if the water „bubbles“, further cleaning by sandblasting or sanding is required.
2) On new concrete
The concrete must harden for at least 14 days and its surface must not be treated with release agents, hardeners, resins or other covering agents.
On hardened and dry surfaces, apply STONE ACID LECKE generously with spray guns and immediately rub in circular motions with a brush or wax dispenser; Wait for the first layer to dry completely and apply a second coat using the same procedure.
Wait at least 24 hours to allow the complete chemical reaction with the free salts contained in the cement for maximum curing and coloring.
Wash with water and bicarbonate and then rinse with pure water and let dry; Resin with two coats of SEALFLOOR® 100 or POLISTONE TR 100; If necessary, use our product ANTISLIP to make the surface non-slip. Washing with bicarbonate is essential to alkalize the surface, as SEALFLOOR® 100 binds well in an alkaline environment, while it is repelled in an acidic environment.
MAINTENANCE
The floor treated with the STONE ACID DESIGNATION only needs to be washed with soap and water or household cleaners.
Interior floors can be treated with floor wax.
RESTRICTIONS
Stone acid stain does not cover cracks, defects or other design defects.
The color produced by the stone acid stain can vary from surface to surface and this depends on the concrete mix, water and cement ratio, atmospheric conditions, application method and number of product layers.
Always carry out tests on the surfaces to be treated.
PARCELS
STEINSÄUREBEize is available in 1 l and 5 l packsStandardsQUALITY‘

Store in straight containers in a well-ventilated place.
SPECIFICATIONS
After hardening, a product based on water, acids and mineral salts is applied to the reinforced and hardened concrete surface in appropriate doses (e.g. STONE ACID STAIN), which reacts with the free salts contained in the above-mentioned concrete and forms a reaction chemistry that stably hardens and colours the treated surface. The same will come
then apply the SEALFLOOR® 100 or the transparent POLISTONE TR 100. The same can also be applied in the „ANTISDRUCCIOLO“ version.
