Building moisture and evaporation from the stable animals caused the reeds used as plaster carriers to rot.
This led to the development of the most successful plaster substrate in history: stauss Ziegelgewebe
Consisting of a woven steel mesh on whose crossing points clay is pressed and then
like a brick is fired, jam brick fabric is easy to shape and process.
Difficult plaster substrates such as wood, concrete and also mixed masonry can be plastered permanently
and resist even the strongest fires.
