EPOXY PRIMER is a two-component epoxy primer with high adhesion, which can also be used on moderately damp substrates (4% residual moisture), especially as an anchoring primer for cement mortars, also suitable for application to tiles to avoid their demolition.

PREPARATION OF THE SOIL
The surfaces of concrete floors must be dry or with low residual moisture, clean, firm, without crumbling or chipping parts. The mechanical strength of the substrate must always correspond to the intended use and load of the floor covering. For concrete, make sure it has sufficient strength, at least 25 N/mm2 for pressure and 1.5 N/mm2 for tensile strength.
The relative humidity of the substrate must not exceed 4% and there must be no capillary rising damp (control with the foil test). The floor surface must be cleaned with suitable means (e.g. sandblasting or sanding with diamond wheels) to remove any traces of dirt, brittle or peeling parts, and to make the surface slightly rough and absorbent. If a concrete surface is contaminated with oils and greases, it must be thoroughly cleaned with a 10% solution of water and soda or detergent and then rinsed several times with plenty of clear water. Vacuum off the excess water before applying EPOXY PRIMER and wait until the residual moisture does not exceed 4%.If, on the other hand, these substances have penetrated deep into the subsoil, the contaminated concrete must be removed by scarifying. The substrate must then be restored by applying DECOPRIMER AQ, a three-component epoxy mortar. In any case, before applying EPOXY PRIMER, the dust on the substrate must have been perfectly vacuumed.
APPLICATION
EPOXY PRIMER is a two-component product, before mixing the two products it is necessary to mix component A thoroughly, then pour component B into component A and mix with a slow-running drill, if necessary to 30% by weight and apply with an American trowel to appropriately prepared substrates. Immediately after application to still fresh Sow surfaces quartz, taking care to ensure that the surface porosity is saturated to avoid air leaks that could become visible during subsequent treatments. After curing, usually 12-24 hours, depending on the temperature, clean the excess quartz by vacuuming and start the planned work.
Due to its special composition, EPOXY PRIMER is suitable for the repair of damaged screeds. In this case, it is advisable to cut perpendicular to the cracks in the screed, insert metal rods and remove the catalyzed product due to the low viscosity of the system, in this case we recommend adding 0.1-0.5 quartz from 100% to 200% of the mixed product.

WARNINGS
Do not dilute with water or solvents.
Do not apply to weak, dusty or unstable surfaces.
Since it is a two-component epoxy product, catalysis between the two components begins as soon as they come into contact with each other, therefore apply the product within the processing time indicated in the table.
Do not apply to surfaces soiled by oils or greases.
Do not expose the catalyzed product near heat sources (processing times can be significantly reduced).

Any partial mixtures must be done carefully and by weight, otherwise the product will not harden.
