Ceiling heating is one of the surface heating systems. The heat emitted (or cooling) is based on the principle of thermal radiation and is therefore perceived as particularly pleasant.

Contrary to the false assumption that heat can only spread upwards, temperature control via the ceiling works very well. While it is true that warm air rises, the sensation of pleasant warmth or cooling is about radiant heat.
