PLANT

In nature, the majority of rainwater is temporarily stored by the ground and later evaporated again via vegetation. About 75 percent of the rainwater evaporates in the natural water cycle again in the same place. The resulting evaporative cooling acts as a natural air conditioning system - it cools and humidifies the air.

WATER SAVING

Sustainable rainwater management strives for a water cycle that is as close to nature as possible. The storage function of the soil is technically imitated, for example by green roofs or road substructures. The water is used to supply roof and façade greening or street trees.

GREENING

Façade greening can be used in the smallest of spaces, such as house facades, balcony or terrace walls, even where there is hardly any connection to the ground. The insulating effect that planting on the outer walls brings with it insulates during the cold months and provides cooling by deflecting direct sunlight.
